The annual Irish Chemists Golfing Society (ICGS) trip to Tramore took place on 22 to 24 May, where there was a close and exciting battle for the Captain’s Prize. Captain Gerry O’Neill provided a most unusual prize of two books on golf. One was about how Tiger Woods plays the game, and the other a rare edition on the life and career of Bobby Jones.
It was eventually won by Shane McGlynn with 37 points, just edging out Pierce Healy by one point.
The final day was generously sponsored by Moore Wealth Management, which was much appreciated by the ICGS.
