The cream of the profession were recognised recently at the Irish Pharmacy Excellence Awards 2025
The Pharmacy Excellence Awards, in association with the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund, which took place on
29 November at the Royal Convention Centre in Dublin, brought together pharmacy professionals from across Ireland for an unforgettable evening dedicated to honouring the people, teams, and organisations driving excellence within the sector.
The ceremony shone a spotlight on innovation, patient-centered care, and the extraordinary commitment that pharmacists and pharmacy teams bring to their communities every single day.
Inspiring
“What an inspiring night celebrating the heart of Irish healthcare, our pharmaceutical community. Their
dedication, compassion, and commitment to patient wellbeing is truly remarkable. Recognising their achievements is exactly what the Pharmacy Excellence Awards are all about. Congratulations to all of this year’s exceptional winners,” said
Jill Thornton, Head of Events at the Pharmacy Excellence Awards.
Over 400 guests attended to celebrate the outstanding achievements across the profession. Among the highlights
of the evening was the announcement of this year’s top honours, including the Pharmacist of the Year and the Lifetime Achievement Award, both recognising individuals whose impact, leadership, and innovation set them apart. Each winner reflects the values at the core
of pharmacy: Service, integrity, and excellence in patient care.
‘Exceptional’
The standard of entries in 2025 was exceptional, challenging the judging panel in every category. Every finalist demonstrated remarkable vision and commitment, showcasing the very best of Irish pharmacy, said the organisers. “To the winners, your achievements are extraordinary. To all finalists, your work is indispensable and deeply appreciated. A huge congratulations to each and every one of you.
“We are delighted with the success
of the Pharmacy Excellence Awards 2025 and want to congratulate our amazing winners. The funds raised in
aid of the Pharmacy Benevolent Fund will be used to support our friends and colleagues from Irish pharmacy who may need a helping hand: Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine.”
