Pharmaceutical Press from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the Irish Pharmaceutical Union (IPU) have announced a partnership, supporting IPU members with a special rate subscription to essential information through MedicinesComplete.
Responding to requests to make it easier for community pharmacists to access trusted resources, the two organisations have worked together to create a tailored and affordable offer, which was launched last month.
Pharmaceutical Press Sales and Marketing Director Mr Nic Potter commented: “I am delighted to partner with the IPU and provide an enhanced offer to help community pharmacists access our trusted evidence-based medicines information at a price that is affordable. It is a fantastic opportunity to support the wider pharmacy community to make confident decisions and provide effective patient care”.
Mr Darragh O’Loughlin, IPU Secretary General, added: “The IPU is delighted to add yet another benefit to what we offer our members. MedicinesComplete is a great service and we are very pleased to be working with the Pharmaceutical Press to offer this service at a substantially discounted rate for our members.”
MedicinesComplete makes it easy for healthcare professionals to access essential medicines information at the point-of-care, providing trusted, evidence-based knowledge for confident decision-making and effective patient care. The special rate subscription includes access to Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference and Martindale’s ADR Checker; Stockley’s Drug Interactions and Stockley’s Interaction Checker, plus the British National Formulary and BNF for Children.
Prices start at €452 for one site/premises and €395.50 per site for members who own between two and 10 sites/premises. Eligibility criteria apply.
