Vast majority of pharmacists endorse daily 30-minute break

By Irish Pharmacist - 04th Aug 2020

A recent poll restricted to pharmacist participation has indicated that the vast majority of pharmacists believe that a 30-minute uninterrupted break should be included in the working day.

The poll, which proposed the statement, ‘Pharmacists should be allowed to have at least a 30-minute uninterrupted break during the working day’, received 389 votes.

The overwhelming majority — 355 pharmacists, or 91.5 per cent of voters — said they agree with the statement. Nineteen respondents, or 4.9 per cent of those who voted, disagreed, while 15, equating to 3.9 per cent of voters, said they were ‘unsure’.
