Mccabes Pharmacy Completes Dublin Rollout With 65th Rebranded Store

By Irish Pharmacist - 20th Feb 2025

McCabes Pharmacy celebrated the official opening of its newly-rebranded location at Nutgrove Shopping Centre in Rathfarnham, marking the 65th former LloydsPharmacy in Dublin to transition under the McCabes brand. The event, filled with festive cheer, celebrated the brand’s expansion and the completion of its Dublin rebrand, with 110 stores expected to operate nationwide under the McCabes name by year’s end.

The launch highlighted McCabes Pharmacy’s commitment to patient care, featuring personalised health services, a comprehensive selection of medicines, vitamins, skincare, and exceptional Christmas gift offerings. Over the last few months the rebranding process has been underway stretching the length and breadth of Ireland from Letterkenny, to Sligo, to Kenmare, Limerick, Wexford and Dublin. Both LloydsPharmacy and McCabes Pharmacy teams are uniting under the McCabes name with the objective of creating a stronger, more resilient pharmacy network that puts patients at the heart of everything, aiming to provide exceptional care and an enhancement of services to reflect evolving healthcare needs — including the rise of digital health, a focus on personalised and preventative care, and the expanding role of pharmacies in providing integrated health services.

Sharon McCabe, CEO of McCabes Pharmacy, expressed her enthusiasm: “We are delighted to continue our rollout with a festive spirit, serving more communities across Ireland. The rebranding of 65 Dublin stores reinforces our dedication to providing enhanced, patient-focused services as Ireland’s largest pharmacy brand.”
