APPEL (Affiliation for Pharmacy Practice Experiential Learning) has organised the ‘Future of PharmacIE’ event and manages the experiential learning placements of the integrated pharmacy programmes of the three Schools of Pharmacy in Ireland. APPEL is a unique collaboration between University College Cork, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and Trinity College Dublin.
APPEL provides a single point of contact for trainers, training establishments, and students for all placement activities. APPEL is inviting students and professionals to attend its first virtual careers event on 19 October. Panel discussions with pharmacy professionals will showcase the varied and exciting career paths for pharmacists. Future pharmacists can get inspiration for their career path in pharmacy and get the chance to meet their future colleagues.
Exhibition booths will allow organisations to promote their business or practice area to the pharmacists of the future and build their talent pipeline.
